What Are The Requirements Of The Canada Immigration Investor Programme?

Persons who have garnered business and managerial expertise by way of experience and have a significant amount of capital or a relatively high net worth are more than likely to qualify for a Canadian Immigration (permanent resident)

Quebec Business/Investor Immigration

The program is available to individuals who have acquired entrepreneurial, investor, or self-employed experience and wish to settle in the province of Quebec.

In order to qualify for this program potential investors under the Quebec Business/Investor programs must show that they are capable of being financially stable.

Upon provincial approval, candidates will receive a Certificat de sèlection du Quèbec (CSQ, or Quebec Selection Certificate).

The CSQ is the official document issued by the government that allows an individual to acquire a Canadian Immigration (Permanent Resident) Visa once health and security aspects of the process have been completed.

Quebec Investor Programme:

To qualify as an investor, an individual must have a net worth of at least CAD$1.6 million, must have been an efficient manager and be willing to make a government-secured investment of CAD$800,000 for a period of five years.

Financing of this investment is available through Canadian financial institutions.

Quebec Entrepreneur Programme:

To qualify as an entrepreneur, an individual must have a net worth of at least CAD$300,000, have managerial experience in running their own business or must have operated a business and they should willing and able to start up a business or acquire a business which will create at least one incremental job.

Self-Employed Person Programme:

To qualify as a self-employed person, an individual must have a net worth of at least CAD$100,000 and must have a profession or trade that he or she intends to practice in Quebec.
